On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, meet our local representative. Drive towards Gangtok (5,500 ft, ~120 km / 4.5 hrs) along the Teesta River. Check into your hotel. Evening free to stroll along MG Marg.
After breakfast, depart for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) & Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,200 ft). (Nathula Pass visit is optional subject to permit availability). Return to Gangtok in the evening.
Visit Ropeway, Do Drul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, and Handicraft Centre. Afternoon transfer to Darjeeling (6,700 ft, ~100 km / 4 hrs). Check in and relax.
Early morning (04:00 AM) drive to Tiger Hill for Kanchenjunga sunrise. Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Post breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Japanese Temple, and Happy Valley Tea Estate.
Excursion to Mirik Lake (4,900 ft). Enjoy boating or horse riding around Sumendu Lake. Stop at Nepal border (Pashupati Market) for duty-free shopping. Return to Darjeeling.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to NJP Station / IXB Airport for onward journey with fond memories of the Eastern Himalayas.
